I defended my thesis Essays on Cognitive Development and Medical Care (
pdf) in December 2016 at the Department of Economics, Uppsala University. My time as a graduate student was divided between the Economics department and an interdisciplinary research group, U-CARE.
Currently I am a researcher at the Institute for Housing and Urban Research, but my main focus is still empirical health economics, continuing my research on topics related to my thesis.
Besides my research, one of my main interests is education and public outreach of scientific results and critical thinking (“folkbildning”), and I am active in the public debate about questions related to science and scientific methodology in Sweden.
