Mattias Öhman

I am an economist and researcher at the Institute for Housing and Urban Research (IBF) at Uppsala University. Here I give an overview of my research, teaching, and ongoing projects, as well as occasional reflections on economics.

Much of my work focuses on environmental effects on health and well-being. Currently, I work in the Healthy Cities program and Urban Lab. I am affiliated with Uppsala Center for Fiscal Studies (UCFS) and the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health at Uppsala University.

I am interested in the philosophy of science and economics, and write short essays to make economic theory more accessible for students and the interested general public.

You can find my CV here and reach me at mattias.ohman@ibf.uu.se. My university profile can be found here.
